Okay guys, seems like my Navigation just went wonky as it continues to reboot, it prompts me for the code and then without me putting the code in, or in the middle of putting the code in, the Navigation restarts.... i plan on ordering a replacement Nav on eBay (the thing in the trunk) but i was wondering in the interim how can i permanently turn off the Navigation without Effecting the RADIO.... i unplugged the navigation in the trunk and the radio didn't work....

Is there a way to do this without it affecting the radio, is not, the navigation screens will continue to restart with the LCD screen on.

 

This is a somewhat common issue with the navigation. There's a few threads on this already, a quick search will yield you results, there's a few options on what you can do, but those threads will cover all the details. I know someone had success hitting the drive in the trunk with a rubber mallet a few times, but your best bet is to search for the exexisting threads on this forum.

 

I haven't found anything that mentions turning off the Navigation Screen permanently until I replace or repair mine, can i pull a fuse or something without it effecting the radio?
