My XM signal kicks out too many times for comfort, even in wide open areas. It's really annoying when I'm listening to Howard Stern and they're in the middle of one of his famous 'stories'.

Do I need an antenna? I figure after 14 years and 291K miles, it probably needs replacing, but I'm open to suggestions of course.

All he's doing is an antenna replacement. I need to troubleshoot first to verify if that's what I need to do.

 

Anyone out there?

 

Haven't had XM in the 3G TL for a bit but when the trial came on last weekend I did notice it dropping quite frequently on the highway in wide open spaces and the same with the MDX

 

How can I test the antenna so I can make sure that's the problem?
