thanks... I will try the cardboard method and see if it works, and maybe get a new Pontiac kit. If I succeed I will post how it came out...

Mine has BT built in. I have the PAC module so the steering wheel controls work on the Pioneer. It's suppose to work with the HFL. I just haven't had time to play around with it and program it.

Funny thing I have a second GTO Pontiac kit sitting in my garage. I've been trying to get around to make a second faceplate.

Thanks.

I had a crazy idea one day and cut the two trim pieces I had sitting in the garage. I cut a 2 inch long piece directly above the round cut-out. I sanded the edges smooth and they just snapped in place. I little super glue holds them in place.

The thread has been dead for almost a year and a half. The OP hasn't been here for a month less than that time and you think it's going to happen?

Like so many people who have these magical products, they all fade away before becoming anything.

You need to find a custom shop if you don't have the skills of KoP.

Well I looked around and couldn't find any dash kit for the TL 04

Went to get mine installed and also did some touch ups on the middle chrome part. Not the show car status, but it looks good enough for me. Im loving the double din now! Can't live without my sounds.

BEFORE AND AFTER

BEFORE AND AFTER

The only thing I hated was the metal look so instead I put the vinyl wrap on it. Looks a lot better to me.

A couple of things.

1)If you were going to vinyl wrap them, why didn't you fill in the circles first?

2)I hope you used the adhesion prep (3M Primer 94), otherwise it will start pulling up when it gets hot. The sun hits that area pretty good and heats the di-noc and causes it to start bubbling. (happened to me, so I painted instead)

Double dins (and single for that matter) look so awkward that low...especially with a screen directly above it. Jerry, you have the audio to back it up though

IDK, I don't think my single Din is any lower then the factory HU visually.

yea but you have a screen higher up, not down where the single din is. Yours is the only way I would have wanted done on my car. Or get an ipad somehow to slide in an out of the console. Someone has it done on their CL on this forum

I was trying to figure out what to do for the circles, but couldn't get anything... I've seen people say take it to like Maco so that might be a good idea, or another local body shop. But the metal was killing me its a temporary fix till I can fill in the circles. lol
