Why would you want to? You have an L7 in the trunk....

Me personally, I would just remove the OEM sub...

^^^Agree. You don't want 2 subs going at once that are different sizes, in different enclosures, and firing differently and they are probably using the wires going to the sub with a LOC to get the signal for your L7.

If you don't like the sound of the L7, then get a decent sub in the proper enclosure and you'll never even think about that sub in your package shelf again!

You never mentioned anything about your liscense plate rattling in your first post...

Put some dynamat on your plate/trunk lid to lessen rattles, or unhook the L7 and go back to factory sub

Is the license plate secured with all four screws or just two? I just bolted it down with all four screws and have no issues what so ever with vibrations of the plate...
