Cool WRX Dusted!!

Just driving down the highway, blue WRX with 2 snowboarders doing 80 down the highway. Pulled side to side and got visual acknowledgement. Downshifted to fourth, no contest! at 130 they were 20 cars behind and had given up!!! Wasn't even worth the sweat! :wow: :wow: :wow:

I get to flam the WRX! It's a noisy timebomb that just goes like stink when it hitws the turbo. At lower speed, a good one will run a lot harder than we can in its range but get it up where we have the advantage and it's a different story, besides the fact that we are quiet and comfortable.

You raced him the right way. Beware the WRX from a stop...the AWD hookup more than makes up the horsepower deficit.

On the highway from a roll, the TL's horsepower advantage and gearing gives us a significant edge.

I've never liked my racing short. I prefer to have some "driving" to go along with it. I've always considered hot rodding to be a mechanics rather than a driver sport. I do delve into mechanics but of a very superficial sort (not for a while now). Nothing like a good rally or road circuit to get the ticker pumping!
