Wrong color ambient light!

Howdy all. I've rarely posted, mostly been a lurker here.

I just bought my third Acura (2007 TL-S 6-speed) and I noticed something odd about it. The ambient lighting in the wheel wells is supposed to be red, just like all the other lights in the car, right?

The one on the driver's side is the wrong color! They put a blue on on the left side, but the one on the right side is red, like it's supposed to be. (Must have been built on a Friday...!)

I talked with the dealer about it and they said they've never heard of this happening... has anyone else encountered this?

Does anyone know if it is hard to replace those lights? I'm taking it over there this afternoon, but I was curious if this was as rare as I would imagine...

Thanks!

That is an easy warranty fix. but how could they mess that up with quality control? Pretty obvious oversight!

Bring the car back to the dealer and have them fix it. Should be under warranty. Take pictures before you get them fixed I want to see how it is haha.

Ambiant lighting????

Is this lighting in the overhead console or in the footwells where you put your feet (you said wheelwells)???

The reason I ask... My 06 has the overhead blue lighting, which I'd like to be able to adjust or turn off, but no such luck? But more importantly, I'm interested in "footwell lighting" as my car does not have this...

Is this something new to the 07 cars?

yes, i have a new 07 and it had small red mood lighting in the front footwells (but both are red!). btw - i pulled off the little red caps on the lights to get them a little brighter... looks good. think this is a new feature for 07.
