Wrapping the grill with vinyl
Hey was thinking about doing this. Just wanted to get some input on where guys bought their vinyl wrap. Also about how much I should be looking to spend on quality stuff to match a NPB. don't really need pics i've already looked around the forum, but just wanted to know more or less where people were buying it from and how much vinyl it took. soo yeah let me know thanks!!!
i bought 'Gloss Black Vinyl' from someone on some bimmer forums. he sold it to people on there to vinyl their roofs.
i bought a 4'x5' roll for about $25 shipped to my door from him.
4'x5' as in 4ftx5ft.
after vinyling my front grill i still have some left over. i plan on re doing it so it would look much cleaner. the first time around, it was my first time ever vinyling so you can kinda see imperfections up close..

or is that a better deal? ^^ thanks I just wasn't sure what was a good deal on this stuff.

that ebay link looks just fine.
that roll is 2ftx5ft which gives you plenty vinyl to work with.
1ftx5ft might be a little hard to work with because the vinyl roll is only 1ft wide and while you are vinyling, you are forced to kinda stretch the vinyl at certain angles and what not.
having 2ft wide roll compared to a 1ft wide roll should help vinyling big pieces some what easier.
but if your vinyling your front grill, 1ft or 2ft wide rolls are fine. i would lean towards the 2ft wide roll cause you get more and its easier to work with on big wide objects, or objects with lots of curvature and contours
