Would A-spec front & rear look weird?

I don't see much difference between the stock sides and A-spec sides, so would it look odd to have just the A-spec front and rear installed? If not, where can I get just those 2 pieces?

Unless you put some 18 or 19" wheels on I think the A-kit looks stupid. There's a TL down the road from mine that has the stock 17" wheels and the A-spec kit. It sort of has that in-progress rice-burner look to it ... like half the cars out there with a giant wing on the back, a front end kit in primer, clear tail lights and... stock steel wheels with hubcaps.

It obviously doesn't look _that bad_, but no thanks!

The A spec kit wouldn't look right unless it is complete with 18" wheels and the suspension package. Otherwise there is no point doing it. I would only consider it on the 6 speed manual TL.

I think it would look incomplete without the side skirts. I can't imagine mine without the side skirts. Get the side skirts.

Many people have different tastes. Lots of people just buy a spoiler because they don't want to waste money on the other parts. A spoiler afterall is probably the most "extra" that most people will get.

$685 CAD for a winged spoiler vs. $4,700 CAD for an A-Spec...that's a huge difference to me, but I got the A-Spec anyways because it looked (and still is) very sharp and distinguishes my car from most of the other TLs I see on the road.

To me, personally, it was a big waste of money and it was the only reason that made my car look "different/cool/sharp...etc" that I chose to put it on.

I do agree that it looks dorky and incomplete with only certain parts of the package on, but if that's what floats their boat...I have no probs.

Besides, how many people with TLs drive around with just the rear underbody? Probably less than the people who drive around with the Total Package.

The A-Spec package is so overrated...

In Canada, there is an Aero-Kit package which comes with all the noticeable upgrades except the rims. Front + sides + back + lip spoiler for around $2,200.

Not sure if they have this in the US...

Doing the same thing. I've seen a pic with just the front lip and it looks great.

I think the A-Spec sides and the stocks look similar enough that you could get away with just the front and rear pieces. I prefer to do the whole kit, however, to complete the effect and, for me, to complete the A-Spec transformation.

Different strokes for different folks!
