Wood Inserts for Door Panels/Dash Compartments

I am contemplating getting an 06 with black interior and am not particularly fond of the carbon fiber inserts.

Is anyone aware of whether the wood inserts for the doors and dash compartments are available from Acura as a part? Am not interested in aftermarket wood trim kits.

biff Trout....there are many threads about this subject. I believe I was the first to do what you are seeking to do. I ordered the OEM pieces that come with the lighter interiors through my dealer parts depts. About $300. Then paid my dealer $500 to take out the CF pieces and install the new Wood look pieces. Then ordered the additional kit offered through exoticwooddash.com. At the time it was under $195. Easy to install the add on kit. I have used them before in previous cars. The quality is excellent as is the durability. I recently picked up the new rear console add on pieces offered through Acura (can view on the website when building a car) from my local dealer. I love the finished product. Anyone wishing pics can PM me your e-mail address and I can send you some of everything accept the latest rear console addition. Remember there are some haters out there that don't recognize your right and privilage to create your own look in our cars. Ignore them and do what makes you happy

Click on WoodDash Pics in my signature below. I only used the basic kit whereas Brucedeb1 used the full kit.
