I currently have a 2003 Antracite Non-Navi TL, with Type-S wheels. A few weeks ago I went into three local Acura Dealerships and found the exact car I was looking for at one of the dealers: 04 Antracite, Ebony, Navi, Auto.

After an hour or so, I left; they seemed to proud of thier car to sale it. I then found a car that was due to arrive at another dealer (01/05/04) so I put down a deposit. I made a pretty good deal and signed the final paper work on Sunday, (01/04/04). Well my car didn't arrive as promised, but I expect it will be here tomorrow - as they checked and the car is less than 50 miles away. Can't wait.

I plan on taking it for a test ride to check for vibration, but I'm not too worried about it having that problem.

How easy was it to keep the anthracite clean on the 2003? And why did you decide to go for the navi on the 2004?

To answer your qeustion, I think Anthracite is a easy color to keep clean.

After I purchased the 03 I immediately wished I had the Navi, espcially after hearing how everyone raved about it, but at that time the extra money was an issue.

This time around I just got want I wanted. In hindsight, it all worked out, I didn't have to pay for Navi twice, and I ended up with a the latest model car.

Just for the record, who were those dealers that you found the car at? I could not find that car (in the color combo) at any of the Bay Area dealers I was shopping at. However, right around Christmastime, Marin Acura had one available.

I just picked mine up on Sunday from Stevens Creek Acura. It was the only Anthracite/Ebony they had coming in that time.

My car did come in today, so I went bye at lunch to take a look at it. I ordered the car from Los Gatos Acura, they actually have two (both sold though).

What is really funny is that I called Sunnvale Acura about three weeks ago (thats where I got my 2003 TL from), and they said they coundn't get the car, so I went over to Los Gatos and they said they would have one by January 5, 2004, but I had to put a $500 deposit down t hold the car.

I should get my car tonight or tomorrow at the latest.

Ah, yes.. they informed me that they were sold too. What pricing did you get? I went in there and tried to buy the Anthracite/Camel from them (it was on their front lot) but they wouldn't match Stevens Creek's price so I walked.

I'm not in the South Bay right now but yes we could definitely meet up sometime to compare notes, seeing as our cars were probably made around the same time. Mine has a rattle in the steering wheel that I have not been able to isolate yet. I think it's coming from behind the cover of the wheel (where the A emblem is).

What is your VIN? Mine is 21XXX.

Mine is 21xxx also, and so far so good. I took the sales person for a ride to see if it had any vibration, and there was none. Thus far I have had no problems. I can't belive all the things this car can do, I hope I don't wreck it palying with all the Navi fuctions.

I got about $850 off on a lease, I felt that was as good as it was going to get, plus they sweetend the deal bye given me $500 dallors more for my trade in then originally promised. To be honest I would paid full pop for the car, I wanted it that bad, and I got sick of waiting.
