My Bosch Icons work very well at first. Probably the best I've ever had. But after a few months they start streaking. Sometimes cleaning the wiper surface helps, sometimes it doesn't.

There's a long thread on wipers and the PIAA silicone seem to be the wipers of choice. Going to try these soon.

I think I remember seeing somewhere that they were going for ~$80. Quite expensive for wipers.

Expensive, yes. But around here I have to replace the premium wipers every year so at the second year I've broken even and I don't have to do the labor again.

Icons have my vote also, had them on for about 14 months and still perfect.

They usually have them on sale at Advanced Auto Parts or Pep Boys from time to time.

Bosch as well. Mine streaked horribly after a month of use.
I do not recommend.

This will be my first winter with the TL. I'm looking forward to how well she'll handle the weather up north.

I don't know if it's the same on TLs, but I think on my Accord the wiper mounting points are offset a little bit, and on the majority of aftermarket blades they're centered, so you don't get the same wiped area. I learned this after installing Rain-X wipers recently. They're great, but they seem to throw off some water onto the passenger area, and the passenger blade isn't there to catch it.

I just picked up a pair of Rain-X latitude at Autozone for 20 bucks and they work just fine. Quiet (noisy wipers are a huge pet peeve for me) and work really well. I'm happy with them. If they only last me a year, who cares? I'll go pick up another set. I was researching and researching wipers before I finally started to laugh at myself... they're windshield wipers, not a suspension set up or a set of wheels. Why spend top dollar or think about it excessively?

Costco sells the GoodYear brand for $8/each. A few weeks back, they sent out a book of coupons and there was a coupon for Buy 1 Get 1 Free on these wipers. I ended up buying 8 sets. Very good wiper, and an even better price.

I used RainX wipers on all my previous cars and they work wonders with RainX formula and washer fluid. The stock wipers on my TL now still work great but I'm sure I'll go RainX again once they break.

+1

Had the Bosch Icon and it streaked horribly on the driver side and even worse on the passenger side on my Accord. Bought the Goodyear wipers from Costco and haven't had any streaking. They are the same one piece design as the Icon. Also stocked up when they were running their buy 1 get 1 free.
