Winshield blocks my vision???

It rains everyday here in canada, and when my TL wipes, those wipers seem leave a thin layer of oil or traces on the outside!!!! It's like moist!!!
Is it because those wipers from acura were poorly made?
Or is it the windshield that was poorly made??
Any solution?

Hi
I also live in Vancouver, but I don't have that problem at all.
I think it's just your windshield has some oil or wax(?) on it

I don't have the problem either...

U could take u car to a carwash company let them try to take those traces off...

There are so many good carwash in richmond. I think the most professional one is

on GardenCity RD. + Alderbridge Way. It's easy to find...

If doesn't work, take the car to the dealer and ask them about the problem...

My wipers leave a black line in the upper left of the windshield - just have not gotten around to buying new ones. Kinda hoped the new ones would have lasted longer that 10k miles.

Clean it off and use rainx on your windshield, it should resist any residue, and hopefully the black marks

I swear by RainX... that stuff works and lasts for about 2-3 months. And it protects from all kinds of things (bird shit, mud, road grime)...

You might also want to clean the wiper blades throughly. Take a cloth and rubbing alcohol and clean the gunk off the blades. Cleaning the glass alone won't get rid of this problem. As a routine in my car washing I clean the blades and there is always a lot of crud on them.

Hope this helps.

RainX is great! I apply it every few months. It would also be a good idea to wipe your blades while you wash your car. I also apply RainX to the blades, not sure that it does much, but whatever

Whenever you clean your windshield you should clean your wipers also. You can also use claybar on your windshield. I used it on mine and it prevents my wipers from skipping and also cleans my windshield good.

is this rain-x like a windex (like spray?) or is it more of a polish type substance?

More like a polish. They sell an anti fog as well for the insides of the windows.

The RainX I have is a spray, but you do have to buff it off after it fogs over..

It doesn't rain everyday in Toronto, and we're in Canada too!

One thing that's both on and off topic is the placement/size of the A-pillar in our cars. I gotta crane my neck one way or the other to be able to see anything. And since my head is almost hitting the ceiling it's not the easiest thing to do. It's like a big blind spot there.

Sounds like you need to clean some residue off your windshield with some good glass cleaner. If you replace your wipers go to a parts store and get some Bosch refills. I've used them for years and they're the best wipers I've found.
