i want to tint my windshild 50 %... kno of any good spots in westchester..?

 

Don't know anyspots in the NY area as they get s@*# jus for tint.

don't do it man.. i took mine out the first day i got my windshild tinted. couldnt see shit, out of it, and you will for sure get harass by the police. i promise you.

 

i've had my windshield tint for almost 2 years now, i have gotten tickets for my windows but never for my windshield, if anythign its makes your tints look darker so yea you will probally get harassed, i havve black interior also and a 5% tint on the sunroof lol

 

if u do ur windshield, do 35% trust me 50% is like havin nuttin... ask anyone around they will tell u how my tint use to look... btw u do c clearly in the nite, iono but ya but 20/20 baby!

might get pulled over few times, but thats nuttin, if u get pulled over to many times then i suggest u to take it off after a while

 

I heard that if your insurance finds out the windsheild is tinted, they can drop your policy.

 

I agree partially. But realistically it all depends on the brand of tint you have. I have llumar 50% and yes I wish I went 35%. But the best one to get is 50% from 3M. That shit is right on the money. Not too dark and not too light. It looks darker than 50% but not as dark as LLumars 35% .. happy medium.

If you can spring for Huper Optik 50%, get it.

35% tints on the windshield, really? I have 35% 3M tints on all the windows. I couldn't imagine getting that on the windshield because it's pretty dark. There's no guessing that my car is tinted. Maybe one can get away with 50% tints but I wouldn't recommend any tints on the windshield

Plus there's already a factory installed tint on the winshield, albeit light one.

 

I have 20% all the way around and that includes windshield and i have no problems at all with police nor visibility at night. If it werent for the HID than i would definitely think alittle different. I have pics if you wanna see.

My front windows are 50% tint ... can't imagine doing that to the windshield as it would attract unwanted attentions for sure ...

 

Huper Optik Ceramic 40% all the way around including moonroof and 60% on the Windshield. I have a bit of buyers remorse for the windshield and should have gone lighter. Please don't mind the swirl marks, they'll be taken care of soon.

hmm don't see the point of windshield tint if you have dark interior x_X lol

also anyone know the % of factory tint they put on the sunroof? i was thinking bout just matching it to that. if not i'll be peeved to have to do the sunroof to match the rest of my windows lol.

 

dont tint the windshield i have mine done 35% with 15% on the rest of the windows with a tan interior... i have been pulled over once for them in the past 10 months then in the past 1-2 months i have been pulled over 7 times just for tints... not worth it man believe me... and also im parting out my car let me know if u want anything since i know ur local

 

Really? Lighter? It doesn't look like you have any at all. Do you have problems seeing out at night or something? Here in FL, that looks perfect. I'm thinking of going that route myself just to keep more of the heat out.

 

35% windshield tint... no visibility problems in the night, dont know the brand

as far as getting pulled over & ticketed if u have anything under 35% tint on all the other windows once u do ur windshield its going to be much darker (itll look like 15% or even 5%) so of course ur going to draw attention to urself

well this the first car of the many ive owned that i ever tinted the windshield on.... ill never go back....lol

i mainly did it cause i didnt want to retint the whole car over so i just decided to do the windshield & it makes a big difference

yea it will.... just a lil though... u'd probably be better off doing 35 though to really see a difference

I wouldn't run tint on the windshield in NY..but I absolutely agree on 35% tint on the windshield if you do..

My father's little hilux has 5% all around (windshield too). If I can cruise in the little hilux w/ 5% on the windshield.. 35% won't be bad at all.

 

na rear is darker then front lol

 

No front tint but i love my tints. I feel like if your gonna get a ticket for tint... might as well go all out.
