Windows

I went out to the garage this morning to notice that all 4 windows of my 2004 TL were rolled down half way. Not too sure how this happened does anyone out there.

In terms of tinting windows how do you determine how dark you can go? I assume there are different laws in different states?

It's a function of the remote. I have a 2nd gen but I believe it's holding down the lock/unlock button to do it.

I've think I've seen this posted before and it had something to do with electronic system (duh!) which the dealer had to fix...

I dont think we can program our TL's to this automatically unless you hold down the unlock button for more than a few seconds than all the windows will open .

if it was dur to the keyfob button being help down, the sunroof would also be open a little bit. If the sunroof was not open and the windows were, then it is an electrical issue.

Here's a site for Window Tint Laws. You should also do a search on window tint to look at the various shades and types of tint.
