Will MID show trip computer details by default?

I would like to always see the "Trip Computer" information. But when I start the car, the MID displays "Trip Computer" instead of the information. I then need to press the select/reset button to display the info.

Is there a way to display the information at all times I start the car by default?

On the 04-06 for sure, no way, not sure if they have changed this on the 07 but probably not.
Dumb way to program, but that's how they did it and we are stuck with it.

I'm not sure if navi works different but probably not also since you have to go through the OK screen to get to the navi.

Cool

Interesting question.... 2007 S Navi here, and I leave it on Trip A showing outside Temp... it seems to show that again when I restart

Very OCD'd about outside temp

One wish... that outside temp would show in climate control display, and also instant MPG as well as AVG in trip computer

Oh and power tilt / telescope with auto exit seat and tilt wheel but alas...

Guess that's 3 wishes

We can leave our odometer, which is where the outside temp is displayed in non-navi (I don't know if navi has it there or just in the navi display-should have got a navi car so I could answer these questions better), visible on Trip A or B and the odometer will stay in whichever of the 3 choices it gives you, temp, oil life, or nothing.

The trip computer will revert to the title screen everytime the ignition is turned off, but the odometer will stay where it was.

One thing I miss on my 07 TL w/NAV is the capability to see the MID trip computer report on the NAV screen just like my 03 MDX. And seems the MID MPG is about 1.5 MPGs more than the real MPG I manually compute after filling up, so not sure if it's that wonderful anyway. My MDX MPG on the NAV screen is exact to the manual compute.

Can't help with the tilt / telescope but here's what I do with the seat. Since I'm the only one who drives my car I use both memory seat buttons. I carry keyfob #1 and have seat memory set to a semi-reclined / back position. When I unlock and open the door the seat moves back to that position which allows easy entry. Once I'm seated I simply push memory button #2 which is set to my driving position.

You can do this, do a search on "trip computer hack" in teh forum and you will see the instructions. I did this on mine and use it all the time.
