gta auto pros buy insurance and salvage cars from auctions, individuals, etc... and they fix them up by doing good body work to make it look in new and pristine condition despite the car having a salvage title

Guys, you are probably right on the salvage. There is one small thing that wrong with this Type S. This car has Base TL foglights, but it's a Type S car. If you'll notice, Type S foglights "curve out" at the lower bottom portion of the light. These foglights are Base TL lights because they "curve in" towards the inside of the car. I hope I'm explaining this so it makes sense. The Parts Department Manager taught me this about TL's.
It has all the typical Type S characteristics, so my guess is that something has happened towards the front end of the car.

second set after the bmw
severe bumper damage both front and back
they claim no frame damage, but idk, you can never trust these dealers.

Here you go SCV......
This is a picture of my Type S below. Notice how the lower, outer corner of the foglight kind of comes to a point plus angles towards the wheels.

Now, here is a picture of a 2007/2008 Base TL. Notice how the bottom of the foglight curves in....away from the wheel and towards the center of the nose.

That's how you can tell.

Oh snap. Someone is going to buy that car without getting a carfax report and there is a good chance that they will be on this forum complaining about how bad his car is and how Honda/Acura makes crap vehicles nowadays.
Side note, I would love to scope a junk yard of wrecked TLs for spare parts. An additional navi or HFL would be cool to play with on my workbench.

Can someone please run a carfax number for me?
Im in the process of purchasing a 06 TL w/Navi ASPEC with only 6500 miles for $18,900. However it sounds to good to be true and I dont want to go and find out that its a salvage car. Its also 5 hours from where I live.
Please PM and I'll supply the VIN.
I dont have anything to give, but the almighty one above will
Thanks!
