Why does accura not make a roadster/convertable?

They could base it off the S2000 even. Acura seems to be the only line without such a car.

technically not a roadster or a convertible (in the powered sense) but, the NSX-T would be just that...

Who would they sell it to and for how much? It might actually take sales away from their TSX and RSX. They wouldn't do that, they're too smart.

I think.

Simple - low sales volume, large manufacturing costs.

Just odd the Acura is just about the only company to not have one.

Well, technically Infiniti doesn't have one either. Just as Acura's little bro Honda has the S2K, Infiniti's little bro Nissan has the 350Z Roadster. At some point I do expect a G35 convertible of some form to come out, but for now Infiniti and Acura are in the same boat.

Not sure as to why they don't, but I'd love to drive a vert TL.

I'd rather see 4 seat convertible based of the TSX Since it is competing with the AUDI A4 and 325 both have a convertible version.

TL convertible would be cool, too.

Those with rattles would not be able to hear them.

I dont thing there's really a substantial market for a vert. I think the current S2K is sufficient enough for both Honda and Acura. But something like a CL vert would be the way to go, IMO.

Based on low volume I do not think it is viable for Acura to do that. It is cheaper to based the convertible based on existing line like the TSX or TL, I do not really care as long as it has four seats.
