I did it myself. Took all of 3 hours max and that's without a lift and without taking off the tires. If it would have been in the air, I'd imagine I could do this in under 90 minutes.

My A-Spec kit was just delivered last month and I plan on doing the installation with my father (he's pretty handy with cars). I have a 08 TL-S. The kit came with very detailed instructions that look easy to follow. I know you must take off the bumpers and that that there is some drilling to do. My kit may be different then yours. What year TL do you have?

I think that I am going to wait until it gets a bit warmer outside before I take this on.

I didn't simply because I got it for a ridiculously low price when I bought the car. Considering what it involves, if I had bought it after the fact, I would've done it myself. It's fairly simple.

Good luck, I'm wondering who can install it for me also. I don't have time I always looking for someone in my area (Houson, TX or San Antonio, TX or Austin, TX) to help me install it. Or I was going to look for a shop to install it for me, Acura told me 700$ for a install which WAY TOO MUCH. So I may be going to my trusted mechanic which I know him personally he'll probably charge me no more than 60 bucks.

lol he will. He charged me for a timing belt and water pump change for $135 I bet he'll easily install this for me no more than 60 bucks. I know this guy, most of the time he only charges me for the parts but since I have the part hell prob charge me like 60 bucks since he only charges for 25$ an hour labor

I installed my A-spec kit myself...both the body kit and the suspension in about 1 day over the weekend. Granted I took a few breaks, and also took my time. The hardest part about the body kit is taking the bumper covers off. The suspension was pretty straight forward, just make sure you go have your car aligned after you do it.

You don't have to believe me, hes actually a complete honest person. He does most stuff at the price it should be priced at. He doesn't want to go big so he doesn't overcharge. Its almost like a Walmart of mechanics (cheap prices, too bad they use sweat shops lol). He's located in Houston and I could recommend anyone to him. He really only charges for parts and $25 an hour for labor. He has one of those car lifts which makes it even more easier to install plus with experience that should only take you less than two hours install, which means, less than $60.

I installed the a-spec suspension about a month ago in my '07 TL type S AT. Took about four hours working slowly. The only hassle is taking out the rear seat cushon and seat back. Contrary to instructions, you do NOT need to remove the rear parcel shelf. You can use a deep metric socket/ratchet handle to remove the two bolts holding in each rear strut top. Just be real careful. It's easy to gouge the interior plastic trim when removing the upholstery. Not a job for just one person.

BTW, this is the best bang for the buck I think you can find. Works really well with 18x8 rims and good tires......
