These two are from my Navi...

Thanks in advance.

Rets, you know, I have started to see those in some areas also.

I know that for the MDX, it has a "bread crumb" mode when you leave the highway and go off roading so that you can find your way back (sort of like leaving a trail of bread crumbs when on a hike).

Not sure, but check the owners nav manual for this, their could be a screen where you can turn this off. Certianly it should not be happening in NYC (from your photos).

I will check also, untill you posted this, I saw it but it did not register as to what it could be.

Hahaha, I hate you americans. These are the bread crumbs your navi system leaves when you drive on an uncharted road. Unfortunately, my city is not yet in the system so these are all I see

I haven't seen this on my navi. I sincerely hope those aren't breadcrumbs, because from the map in the pics, you drove through a lake a couple of times... or did you get the 007 submarine conversion option and were testing it out?

Track Offroad location, in the setup menu.

Yes, it's the MDX's breadcrumbs option for getting you back from whence you came.

Yes, in P. 58 of Navigation System manual book, it said white dots ("breadcrumbs") on the map screen whevever you drive into an area where the map does not show any roads.

After you have traveled approximately 1/2 mile away from a mapped road, the system will display a series of white dots on the map screen to show the path you have traveled.

However, however, my fat-submarine-like 04TL is never able to go to that lake, and there is no such kind of tunnels/bridges under that park. After I cancel the Track Offroad Position in the setup then make it ON again, the breadcrumbs disappear. It will appear next time while I drive through that area though. I'd like to keep the function on 'cause it's sometimes useful.

I have noticed sometimes it works...and sometimes it doesnt.

BTW again...can anyone tell me how to erase the breadcrumbs?

I am tired of seeing all these white dots from when I am going to certain areas...they keep piling up!

You'd find "OFF" of the Track Offroad Position in the setup.

And this removes the white dots or just stops making more?

In what I've done, yes, it remove the breadcrumbs. If you turn it on again, they're not supposed to show up until you pass those ghost areas again or really go somewhere out of maps.
