Where can I get a nice professionaly done tint in the Chicago area for my TL?

Looking for the same information.

From everything I read here, I don't want to take this lightly. sounds like there is a lot to consider..

I think it was 159 for all the back windows and 179 for all the windows except the front windshield

 

I guess first posting what area you live in would be helpful

 

I got mine done on 63rd S Cicero. The guy charged me $169 for all the windows and it is guarenteed lifetime. This is my 4th car done buy him and all my friends have gotten theirs done by this guy. He has been in business for over 15 yrs. I don't have the number on me, but when I get home from work I will get all the info.

 

I know there is a guy in Naperville, his name is Dave Krausse(sp?). He owns a tint shop in the Naperville area. He is also a moderator on the tintdude forums ( http://www.tintdude.com/forum/index.php ) and he has a website for his shop too ( http://www.dgtint.com/ ) He has been in the business for 20 years or so and uses Solar Guard tint. He has done TLs before and knows about felting. (however I suggest you felt your TL yourself because he charges 100 to felt all 4 doors)

 

I went to Midwest Tints in Arlington Heights. Don't have the number but you can 411. He did a great job and they are garanteed for life. G'luck!

Yep thats them, I do have navi, These guys are off Northwest Hwy. They did a great job.

 

last questions, promise, any pics of your car, what shade/% did you get, did they or you felt the car, how much did it cost

 

No pics yet, I'm waiting to complete the car before posting pics on the site, I promise soon though. I have 25% all way round. To be honest im not sure if he used felt or not. The whole car cost $290. G'luck!
