Where to get 8k bulbs?

Does anyone know where to get some good 8000k bulbs for the headlight...I ordered a pair online but when I put one in it blew right away and the oter blew as soon as I highbeamed someone twice to let them go......thanks

I think your TL is trying to tell you that 8000k bulbs are

higher the kelvin, lower the output, lower the safety, lower the purpose of headlights in general.

stick to 4-5k max. be safe out there.

dont get 8k i swap bulbs too big mistake blew both my ignitors just stick with oem 6k

This is actually a feature. Your TL is trying to tell you to take those crappy (almost certainly made in China) 8000k bulbs out and put your nice, quality 4300k stock bulbs back in, lol.

All kidding aside, just stick with the stock bulbs, they're better.

Way to go AZ peeps.... You saved this guy.

Make sure you buy the correct bulb, in a quality brand, from a reputable vendor. There's a plethora of crap brand, and knock-off HID bulbs on the internet. Don't buy on best price alone, know your getting a good part. Good bulbs are nowhere near 'cheap'.

I've got Philips 85122+ (4.3K) and never had any issues. 4.3K or 5K is way to go.
