occupation

Hi, new to the forum, I'm 29 and make 100k/year. I traded my 350z for 16K and put an additional 10k down payment. Plan to pay off 1.5 year with 350/month payment. Just bought used 07 type-s black with 6,555 miles on it for walk out price of 33,500.

32, married for 10 years, 2 kids - 9 and 6 y.o. I work as an IT manager for a healthcare system in San Jose, cali.

Picked up my 05 TL a month ago second hand for 25k. Had only 21k miles AND the dude threw in the 7/70 extended warranty Acura Care plan.

Been driving Honda's and Acura's my whole life. Currently also have a 2004 Pilot EX and a 2001 Accord Coupe EX.

WOW! If those salaries are correct I am jealous. I make 50k plus $200/mo bonus. I am an IT Systems Support Specialist. I have $1100 mortgage $310 loan on a 2003 MDX, $250 loan for a 2004 TL, and other "normal bills". Funny how this thread asked for occupation and we spit out salaries, but still I am glad many did b/c especially in IT it is good to see where I could be some day.

I have 7 yrs IT experience, Net Admin, Help Desk and now here. Married with two kids one 5 and 2. We live well here in Houston where housing is so cheap (where else can you have a 2700 s/f house for $1100/mo).

The only reason I could afford another car payment on top of my MDX was because my TL is a salvage title. Go ahead and doubt it but my car was a rear collision and you cannot tell unless you pull up the seat. It looks good. Paid $12,500 for it at 60K...sweeet deal rides like a dream.

On a side note I REALLY would like to know how some of the IT people got into Management and the other jobs. If you could PM me and just let me know some information. I am trying to get into Management or Project Management. Thanks.

Cheer up man. My mortgage is 3500 a month and then on top of that, property taxes amount to $7000 a year for my 1700 sq ft house out here in the bay area. The way I see it, you're doing pretty damn well for yerself!

I was 22 when I bought a brand new 07 TL-S. Did a 40% down on the car. Working as a pharm tech at Walgreens (the pharmacy America trusts). Anyway, I'm happy with the car and can't wait to pay her off in the next 3 years!

he could be a homosexual, not that there is anything wrong with that, and thus does not need the nagging woman or troublesome kid to run a muck of his life.

Just a thought.

I'm 20, picking my 04 tl up monday I work for my dad's greenhouse and landscaping business, it's a very successful business. I work hard for the money and I save a lot, no college loans/car loans anything, I will be taking out about a 4k dollar loan, not because I have to but because I want the rest of my money invested. I have wanted a TL for the past year to express my personality better, elegance. Plus it will be nice to drive a car that 99% of 18-22 year olds CAN'T drive

Nearly 11k. I took a road trip to NC SC GA and home.

Now she's resting in the garage while I'm in New Orleans. I think I'll change the tranny fluid. Again.

Same motivation for life as anyone. Interesting job, many hobbies, a fine car to enjoy, good friends and family to hang out with, and the list goes on. And oh, by the way, not the anger you seem to possess. Hope you get it worked out.

Happy motoring to you and everyone else.

Contract software engineer making ~75k/yr. No wife/gf, kids, college loans. Got about $7k on my 2002 civic at trade in, paid $5k down and as for the remaining balance I'm using a balance transfer check with 0% APR for 18 months, with a 2% flat charge. Got an '08 base TL. The economy in general in Michigan is in the toilet, but as far as IT/IS jobs it's great.

I dunno dude, theres a different kind of love you feel for your wife and kids than there is with your friends and relatives/family. Dont you ever think about what your missing out on? Ever wonder what is like to watch your own child grow up? Anyways I think mod is gonna yell at us so PM if you have a response. As for my anger issue, I dunno what you are talking about but I guess I cant be helped. Im messed up in the head.

And the highschool guy thats 25 years old... LOL! I hope thats a typo
