What are people getting quoted for 2005 TL w/Nav?

I am in Wash DC and have gotten quoted $34,770 for 2005 TL w/Nav, only $700 of MSRP which they claim to be $35,470 including destination (Acura.com confirms this MSRP). Got a price of $34,270 from another one in Baltimore, but not crazy about driving there to buy. What prices are people getting on a 2005 TL w/nav auto?

Thanks

I got a quote today for a 2005 6MT w/Nav and protection package for $34,700. It includes destination charge but not taxes, title. I'm in the DC area, too.

Those who are shopping around in DC/MD/VA, go to NJ or NY to get your car.

I assume the Hicksville (Long Island, NY) quote is for a TL with Nav, and includes destination charge. Right?

Empirepd,
Would you mind sharing which dealer is giving you the $34K quote? Does that include destination? Thanks!

gtgrad - what price are the Atlanta schmoozers throwing at you?
Who are you dealing with?
w/nav? AT/6MT?

I'm trying to get an 05 in Atlanta too. Perhaps we can hit them with "You'll sell two cars if you'll give us both a good price" routine or something. 8-)

Hi JR, that sounds like a plan. I have gotten quotes from Nalley, Ed Voyles, and Carland and all are around MSRP for an '05. I am looking at an auto w/Nav. Send me an private message and we can discuss. Thanks.

Avatar72,

Isn't that 1500 off of MSRP? That sounds like what most people have been able to get down to. Which dealer?

Markj,

Goodson and Vandergriff. The price I guess is reasonable for a car that hasnt hit the dealership but I'm just not going to pay an extra 500 dollars because of that. I can wait. I'm sure it will go down in a month or two, of course the salesmen deny that.
David McDavid surprsingly were real cocky on the price. MSRP and Mac Churchill in Ft Worth wouldnt even talk price.

Same quote here. Had to pay +110 in dealer fees. Still thought the price was very good.

All in all, I thought the deal was good as well, but I have to thank QWALLS for turning me onto the dealer. I'll be even happier when the car is no longer on order and I'm behind the wheel.

Acura of Cleveland? Same here. Mine was supposed to be built between 9/21 and 9/25. Apparently is wasn't, and now Rhonda isn't returning my emails or phone calls. Great price, but I guess you get what you pay for. It will be interesting to see who will be the first person to actually take delivery from Acura of Cleveland. I don't want to miss out on the great price, but if I don't hear something soon, I'll be tempted to dispute the deposit through my credit card company. A couple people including wallaceoh asked about my deal...I hope they aren't going through the same thing. I did catch Rhonda Wed., and she said they only received one '05, and it wasn't one of ones they were expecting. I guess it's possible since Acura of Cleveland is so new that they are losing their allocations to more established dealers.

Same deal with me. My last conversation with Chris (Rhonda's co-worker?) was that he would "have a better idea of inventory on Monday". Sounds like something interesting is starting to happen as they've been stringing me along a bit. I put my deposit down on my AMEX hopefully making things a bit easier to dispute if necessary. I agree with mredding that it is a bit frustrating that they don't seem to be starting out well. Though, for the moment, Chris is still e-mailing me back...

One addendum, I believe that Cleveland Acura is one of the last deliveries on this particular route. That could play into some of the problems we're all seeing. I am still pleased with the price...

I'm pleased with the price too, but I'd like a straight answer. If it's going to take an extra week or two just tell me. Don't jerk me around.
