Initially in person quoted $33,800 at Park Acura In Akron. On line/phone quotes of $33,335 at Acura of Cleveland and $33,450 from Motorcar Acura in Cleveland. Park said they would match a lower offer

Forgot to say this was for a DPG/Parch w/Nav.
I loved the car but for reasons too long and complicated to go into I decided that the New Avalon was the direction I needed to go.

In the last week I have visited ( 2 ) separate dealerships here in Southern California...the best results for an 05 TL with navi/automatic ( coming from an ex sales person here so you know I know how to hagle ) was $ 35,000.00 including destination/title + $ 2887.75 for 8.25% sales tax...grand total: $ 37,887.75 OTD. I asked a sales manager why most dealerships are so firm on the MSRP and he stated and I quote "when something is selling like hot cakes at and above the MSRP price is we go below that MSRP we start getting calls from Acura VP's saying...what the f*** are you guys doing!" I guess its similar to housing...here in my area a one bedroom condo goes for $ 250,000.00 so if the owner knows he can sell it for that price going under $ 250K just doesn't make sense. Now I know what to expect when I go in the market for my 05 TL next month.

Try the internet route
You should contact Heidi or Nelson at Acura of Glendale in their Internet department. Look for a price around $35,600 out the door (everything!) including wheel locks, and mudflaps.
Tell 'em the 2005 anthracite/ebony/navi boys sent you. You won't regret the excellent price and buying experience!!!

I ordered 6sp Navi for $33k+ $100 processing + taxes/tags. Will be about $34950 on the road. Could get a little better deal out of state or by buying from dealer stock.

32,896 in stock TL w/ Nav with Spash guards and wheel locks @ Pleasanton Acura
32,986 in stock TL w/ Nav @ Concord Acura. These are in Nor Cal.
I'm going to try to see if I can get one dealer to go down to 32,500.

Anybody know when the 2006's are going to be available?
It might be good to wait a little bit.......when the 2006's are out, the 2005's should be pretty cheap........

I have requested quotes from dealers as far as 4 hours away from me. I live in Virginia Beach and the local dealer, Hall, quoted me 34,959 (including etch code-mandatory).
Leith Acura in Cary NC quoted me 33,670 plus doc fee and 1 dollar for xport tag.
Waiting to here from the others.

I'm from Maine, No Acura dealerships in this State
Sent first inquiry to Acura of Boston and was quoted $32, 755 for a 2005 Acura TL w/ Nav - WDP w/ Parch. interior. This past weekend (7/31) they had a sale for buy $100 over invoice... Not a bad deal.
Since I often travel for business in my car, I am planning a lease. Wonderful tax writeoffs in my situation and makes plenty of sense for me. Based on that price I am getting a payment of about $390/mo (42mo/12k) $3k total due at signing.
Not a bad deal at all in my book - and again, fits my situation. I *could* buy the car outright, but like most people in this forum with any financial knowledge, I'd much rather invest the rest and let the dealership take care of any mechanical issues. Look forward to a new TL in 42 months

Picking mine up tomorrow - got 2005 TL AT with navi for $32,250 which includes destination and protection package, TTL was the only additional items. For the NY area I think I did pretty darn well.

The prices that you guys are quoting, have they been for automatic or manual transmissions? In my recent search for a 2005, I can’t seem to be able to get a price better than 33,700 for a manual with navigation in the Wisconsin or Illinois area. Has anyone else been able to get better pricing a manual with navigation in the same region?

Just picked up my Silver/Quartz with nav for $33,100 plus desination, taxes and a $198 dealer documention fee for a total of $35,574 out the door at Open Road Acura in Wayne NJ. Not a bad deal but in retrospect and after reading some of these posts i think i could have done better.

TL pricing
I don't know about the '05 model, but when I was shopping for my '04TL, I got quotes (and paid) $2000 off MSRP for my '04TL 6MT navi. Since I wanted a color that was unavailable, they had to order the car but I still got it for $2000 under MSRP.

Price Quote / My First Post!!
Hey everybody, this is my first post, I was quoted $33,500 for a Nighthawk Black Pearl w/ Ebony leather, 6 speed MT, and Navigation. Location: IL / McGrath Acura of Westmont.
I've been waiting for about 1.5 weeks, b/c according to the salesman (of 13 yrs. to the #1 Acura Dealer in the Midwest), it's the hardest combination to find (maybe only in the Midwest)
I should be getting mine, straight from the factory, today !!!
