What is this part called?

I'm trying to find a replacement for this part. I'm not sure what the part is called, if it is easy to remove and replace, or where I might be able to find new ones.

If anyone knows, please share. Its the crome/silver trim that runs down the console and next to the gear shift.

Thanks,
Zak

This is from acura.com by the way there online store but you can go to your acura dealer parts department and they should have it there.

BLEH! Don't go to the E-store, it's a rip off. Go here:
http://www.acuraoemparts.com/delray/...All&vinsrch=no
$20 cheaper and it's still OEM.

turn you heater on full blast. let it run a good while. when you're ready to remove turn it off. the heat will warm up the parts making it easier to remove. i've taken those things off on a few cars. kinda scary feels like its gonna break. haven't broken one yet.

Do you have to prep the surface with anything before you apply the new part?

Nope. The pieces come off by prying them up. There are tabs on the back of the piece that have metal clips. The metal clips are what holds it in when in place. I actually lost one of the clips one time when I took it off. Just ordered another one and replaced it. Perfect fit and it was something like $.50.

Look at the link below. I can't see the pics, but I am pretty sure I have a picture of it from the COmptech SS install.
