well it was a nice day for golf

Up here in Toronto yesterday it was a beautiful day and I can't ever recall actually going out golfing in March. What was a nice day ended with frustration and anger as I walked up to my car that was parked perfectly in a designated space that had YELLOW LINES painted on the asphault. I see this van parked nose to nose in front of my car and as I get closer I am shocked at how close it looks from the angle I am walking on. As I walk past the van towards my car I can clearly see this A hole is 2 feet over his yellow line and has his bumper resting if not pushing on my fronnt license plate. I lose it and throw a few good swear words around the parking lot. What can I do? There doesn't look to be any damgae to my car, but what kind of idiot can park a car like that and actually tap your car and then just leave it that way. I have seen many things but this takes the cake. I did kick his bumper pretty good although I doubt I even left a scuff. Good day ruined

ignorance is bliss i guess; if he would've just backed up you would never have known. but luckily there was no damage. this stuff happens to me on a weekly basis here in DC, the touch and park system is how most people learned to || park. annoying and sad. and my bumper has the scars match.

thats why I try to park in the outskirts of the lots (works for helping that weight loss too!) and carry a BIG BAT in the trunk just in case! lol No seriously....I would have been ticked!

You mention you were golfing that day. Surely you could have used a 9 iron the the side of his car or maybe scratched it up with your golf spikes.

So basically you're saying you got your blood pressure up for NOTHING?

Say what I did the first time someone did that to my car.... "It's just a car....It's just a car...."

For this reason, I left the front plate holder on (bought in NJ but not needed in PA) and put the shiny Acura plate on it. Better to replace this than deal with a bumper!!!

Maybe he was parked in his own space, but didn't set the brake and rolled into your car. I can't think of another reason the tool would've left his van against your bumper. I'm wondering if it continued rolling along after you left.

Some old fat lady in a Mustang did the same to me. I reacted same way, throwing cuss words everywhere. Left no damage though why the hell would someone park like that.
