Congrats on the new car! Search through this site for the many TSB's (service bulletins) for possible recalls and factory related issues with the car. There is also a widely known manual transmission issue. If your car is a manual, search for the transmission issues. Hope this helps! If you search, just about all of your questions will be answered, without you even posting a thrread.

I wish they would've kept the 04-06 gauges on the 07-08's.. they were perfect

Fellow '05 owner here, too.. had it for a little over a year, and nothing negative to report You'll be very pleased.

Welcome to the forums and congrats on your recent acquisition.

In re your question regarding what you should do; I suggest you look at some of the fluids and make sure everything looks ok. Try to see if there is any service history that is associated with the vehicle.

A search on this site will answer most if not all of your questions.
