Welcome Driver 1?

When I first got my car, I could have SWORN whenever I turned the car on, the voice would say "Welcome Driver 1." But I messed with the settings making everything to my liking, and now I can't remember how to get it back to the way it was. I don't want to restore to factory defaults cause I have everything the way I want it, except I miss the damn voice! I tried searching first, but I couldn't think of a good way to word this since its such a dumb question. Am I making any sense with the voice or when I first got the car was I

--I have Nav btw

The MID says "Welcome Driver 1", but there isn't a voice.

does anyone know if you can change "driver 1" to your name. For example "Welcome Pierre"

Seems like they'd have an option to put in your name. I can't find anything in the manual though.

Every time you unlock your car, the MID should state either "Driver 1" or "Driver 2". It senses which key you're using. Unless you're just using your valet key to open the door.

Not possible. There would be DIY's on how to do this already if it were.

Cadillacs can flash your name-not an Acura. You're stuck with Welcome Driver 1.

Sorry, but you can't.

I'd just buy a switchblade Driver 1 key.
(It's always nice to have a second key, even if you don't use it).

No problem =)

I think the price range is around the same.

In fact, I think I paid $150 for the key and keyfob at my dealer (which is more money than Heeltoe's switchblade price).

I wish I got a switchblade key (same as you, my car only came with 1 key & fob).

If you do get one, get one off of Heeltoe; not the dealer.

If you say "What time is it?" The car will tell you. I think that's about as personal as it gets.

If you have Navi, try searching for a BJ and see what it gives you. Now that's personal.
