i wanna do something that some ppl may think its useless but i think it be very unique and u dont see them EVER. i wanna customize my leather and interior leather to red cherry leather with white or black stripes...



what do you guys think?

i have a NBP and i think cherry red would loook suppper dope and i think the car will stand out jst cuz of the interior.

please share ideas. now its gonna cost me almost 2k but let me know guys what u think.

You're not gonna get a lot of support on this thread. IMO it's way too flashy and wouldn't look tasteful at all. Catching eyes is great, but you don't want to catch them for the wrong reasons. I think it'll be too much of a distraction when you're driving as well.

If I were you I'd consider taking it down a notch, try more subtle and classy mods. For 2k you could get a nice set of wheels and tires, or the Aspec kit.

It's been done I'm pretty sure. At least red/black interior as been done I think. But keep it clean and go for it.

Do that which makes you happy, but realize that if you ever plan on selling it in the future, you may have to bring it back to it's current condition. Cherry red interior color is an acquired taste, and likely won't appeal to many people.

 

In all honesty, I think red looks pretty dumb. Rather than that, why not get the leather redone and have the seats done in Alcantara? It'd look much better and as well would be sporty! Better yet, why not get the dash done if it's cracking? New alcantara dash in a TL would look good!

 

How 'bout some dingle balls around the top edges of the interior, Cheech & Chong style?

At least you'd do it the proper way and have the seats reupholstered. I'd say do it, be unique. Set a trend. I really want to redo the interior of my car to black/silver, similar to the Type-S whenever I find 2K to blow.

at an AZ meet not that long ago some one had a black 4G that came stock with like a burnt orange rusted almost red color and everyony either loved it or hated it i personally liked it .... ive made threads where no one really liked it but got pms telling me that people liked it... I personally think it wouldn't be that bad. It's not something I would spend money in, but if you really like a custom and special interior, I would say go for it. Better to try something original. You might even start a new trend...go for it.

Dude, Seriously go for it! I think red interiors look awesome on M3's and 911's. Besides its YOUR car, you should express yourself how ever you see fit in YOUR car.

agreed. It is too different for most people but as others I say go for it. I personally wouldnt do a bright red, maybe like a brick red like some of the bmw. I also wouldnt do all of it red. def give some kind of contrast. like maybe just the middle or the outer sides of the seat etc. either way do what you like and go for it. I too want to custom/personalize my interior down the road.
