Vinyl Wrap
Vinyl Wrap
Hey, I've got a TL, soon to get aspec, and I've got a local hook-up for body work without paint and also a local hook-up for vinyl wrap install. The only thing I need to do is buy the vinyl and my buddy will get it taken care of. If anyone who's done the vinyl wrap to the whole car could chime in, or if anyone could give me an idea of how much I would need that would be great. I would like to get a little more than necessary but I don't need to have an excessive amount of vinyl left over. Right now I'm looking at either 225 or 250 sq ft. 5ftx50ft.
Also, I'm thinking about getting a white color vinyl, I've got samples for gloss white, satin white, and also satin pearly white. I believe it's 3M or another high quality brand so the color's should look pretty mint, if anyone has input or ideas, that would be great, always open to new ideas.
Thanks

There's a few people on here who have done it so maybe one of them will chime in and let you know. White is typically flattering on the TL it should look good as long as it's a quality wrap job.
Something doesn't add up, I think.
You have a local hook-up for vinyl wrap install, yet whoever is doing it for you can't take care of the amount of vinyl to do the car?
To me, that just questions how much experience he has, and how many cars he has wrapped.
As for the colour, I would do something different, like 3M Gloss Dark Red vinyl.

Yeah when done properly it looks as good as, if not better than, paint and costs a fraction of the price. I learned about it from Instagram haha this dude Nick Kraft had an emerald green EVO and he recently wrapped his E46 M3 emerald green also. It looked nuts and I looked into it some more and they have some crazy color options and different finishes that can make a car look insane
