I ordered a versus motorsports front bumper back at the end of may and got an email saying there was a 90-120 day back order. i decided it wasn't too bad so i waited and for the past two weeks, i've been trying to get a hold of the guy that's supposed to handle the order to check if it's been shipped yet, the guy tells me that they have to have at least 10 orders to actually place the order and there's only 4. that kinda pissed me off cuz he didn't say anything about that when he told me it was on back order. i asked if there was anything they could do about it since i've been waiting for several months now, at least give me a better price for it or something but he said no and even offered for me to cancel my order. i mean, wtf!!!! then he finally says they can get the bumper in for me if i want but i'd have to pay for freight since it's from china. i asked him how much that was going to be and he says it's and additional $500 and they won't even give me a discount or anything on it. mann..stupid company. i'm still kinda deciding what to do about the order since i haven't been able to find the bumper anywhere else online. any suggestions guys?

 

Cancel it. They obviously don't care.

 

Don't cancel. You'll regret it later. If that's the look you want and the vendor is reputable enough for you to trust then wait for it.

If it makes you feel any better, I ordered the RonJon kit on 9/12. It shipped on 9/16 and the freight company lost the shipment on 9/19. Now no one knows where it is.

 

cancel it and get your money back. the shop really don't care about how long you wait.
go somewhere else instead.

I tried searching for this bumper and could not find anything either. If you cancel the order you will be taking a step backwards. I agree you are being treated badly by this company, but unless you're willing to settle for a different solution you will just have to wait. The choice is ultimately yours.

Maybe you can try getting them to work with you somehow?

You must really like that bumper if you're willing to spend $800 for it!

Nonetheless, Good luck with the shipment. They still haven't found my RonJon Kit that was lost during shipping!!!!

 

Explain to them that you will be filing a lawsuit immediately if your purchase is not shipped to you by the end of the month. That you are not at the companies discretion for a part you have already paid for.

I promise you they will get their act together no company likes lawsuits.

If you have a Lawyer on hand ask him if you can use a scare tactic and produce a written request to be on standby for a lawsuit against Versus.

Then send it too them as well. Tell them your done fing around. That sh*t will be on your door step in no time.
