Under Body Kit Only

I own a WDP TL 04 and getting under body kit minus the 18 inch wheels, steering wheel, a-spec badge. Contemplating whether I should get the deck lid or wing spoiler. Any suggestions out there?

I have a WDP as well and went with the smaller one. The theme of the whole setup to me is subtle and elegant and the wing doesn't seem to fit with it as well in my opinion.

Yes, deck lid is the way to go! It's more subtle, but still greatly enhances the TL's lines and just fits the car better IMO.

I can't agree more with the other posts in this thread. The wing spoiler just doesn't fit the new elegant/luxury body style of the TL. Luckily my dealership had a couple with the Deck Lid and Wing so I was able to do a side by side comparison. I hate to say this, but IMO, the wing spoiler looks somewhat "Grand Am'ish". You just don't see many luxury sports sedans with wing spoilers.

I just go the underbody kit and the wing spoiler. I think the wing spoiler is great. It doesn't really matter what type of spoiler you get, it depends on your preference so don't be discourage on what people are saying about the spoilers.

Wing spoiler

Deck lid spoiler

I too think the wing spoiler is too "grand-am'ish". The TL is a very modern looking car and all the wing spoiler does is make it look like something from the nineties. It ruins it for me.

If your getting the under body kit you have to get the wing spoiler. I have full body kit with wing spoiler and never got so many random people telling me how great my car looks. The decklid spoiler is pretty damn gay IMO. :o Its like a pimple on the back of the car that you just wanna pop!! Plus it looks like :shit:

put it this way. you can get the decklid spoiler, realize you dont like it, then put on a wing afterwards. but you cant put on a wing, take it off, and put on the deck lid spoiler afterwards without filling holes and getting the trunk repainted.

i also lived in ricer town USA (CA) and have grown to despise most wing spoilers.
