Uncontrollable Power Windows
Both front windows are almost impossible to regulate. Hit the down button and they go all the way down with no way of stopping them midway. Same problem going up. It is nearly impossible to just open the window a crack for some fresh air. Is this something that can be programmed at home or is it a trip to the dealer?

You should be able to stop them by pulling up on the button while the window is in motion.
In our '02 though, there were "2 stage" controls on the windows.
The 1st would stop when you let go of the button - it was a kind of partial press of the button.
The 2nd you would feel a detent and the window would go all the way down - a kind of full press of the button.
In our '07, I have the same problem as you - a "partial press" of the button sends the window all the way down. And the only way to stop it is pulling up on the button before it reaches the bottom.
I thought it was supposed to be more of a "2 stage" like the '02's.

I had the same problem for a while - worse on the roof than the windows - until I learned just the right "touch" to use on the switches.
If you play with them a little, you'll notice a little extra "bump" when you pull them back or push down hard. If you just barely pull or push, but not past the "bump", they will raise or lower like a normal, old-fashioned window switch (like the rears, for instance).
It takes some practice, and is almost impossible to do if you're driving on a bumpy surface, but you'll get the hang of it. I for one use the "one-touch" feature a lot, so it's worth the extra hassle for me.

Thanks, I'll give it a try.
I always liked the "2 stage" swtich in our '02 TL-S.
And in both (the '02 and '07) I REALLY like the One Touch Up feature. I drive a lot of rentals on business and our Acura is the only car I've driven that does that; it's very useful and I don't understand why everybody doesn't add it.

I don't know why, but I feel really cool pulling away from a tollbooth, drivethru, whatever with both hands on the wheel and the window going up
I'm sure it blows some people's minds (or at least I'd like to think so).

My Ford Probe had manual windows so when there was a really nice car next to mine i'd try to roll it up at a steady pace so it didn't look like i had manual windows..... i get bored alot

I would have done it that way all the time. Wouldn't want anyone to think I was doing anything else when they looked over and saw that arm action going. Especially if I was driving something called a "Probe".
