Type-S bumper on base

Okay before someone says "SEARCH TEH FORMZ" or "SOMEONE JUST POSTED DIS", please read.

So about a month ago someone backed into my car at work. The right side fell off it's hinges but was able to be popped back in place. There are some minor scratches at the bottom to, and in a couple spots around the bottom portion of the bumper. So now I'm looking into getting the Type-S bumper because I do want to put the quads on.

So the question is, where can I find the honeycomb piece for it? Or could I just get some sort of wire and create my own piece? And do you guys think it'd look fine without the exhaust garnish?

Suggest changing the thread title as it's not exactly what this thread is about.
And I'll say it.... search the forums. It's been asked MANY times.
I know the search feature is a bit of a cluster-fuck but there's lots of info there if you do a little digging. Just for next time.

And to answer your question:
Faux-grille is something you get from the dealer or a reseller (Such as EndlessRPM).
Yes you can create your own piece via mesh.
Technically it can look fine without the exhaust garnish, all depends on how you feel about it. To me it's an eyesore. You can sorta tell something's missing. BUT if you get the TL-S A-Spec then you no longer need those exhaust garnishes.

Yeah I thought about changing it after I posted but I can't (as far as I'm aware of). And the thing with older post is that majority of the time the pictures are gone / missing. It's nice to see new stuff. I'm looking at this bumper on ebay rn and am kinda hesitating to purchase it. Its $200 with no garnishes. But it's scraped up with the dings and broken tabs. But it'd be cheaper than buying one and painting it as this one is already CBP.

Where are the scrapes/broken tabs? If it's mainly in the lower portion you can cover it up with the A-Spec kit. Even if you bought a new TL-S bumper the garnishes and trim pieces won't come with it.

Your biggest issue is the missing tabs up top (center-ish).
They have 2x 10mm bolts or so that go through them that bolt up to the trunk. You can probably get away without using it though. Might---MIGHT---be a little loose in the center. Not sure.
If anything you can cut the tabs off your old bumper and ghetto-rig it to the one on eBay.
Otherwise rest of the bumper is easily repairable or can be covered up with the A-Spec.
Broken tab by the exhaust garnish is nothing to worry about.

sweet.

gonna get an estimate tomorrow to see how much it'd be to fix it up. but as long as it's usable it'll be better than my current one.

The one thing to look at when replacing your rear bumper is the plastic tabs/guides that are attached to the car. If it's broken or bent you'll need to get it fixed.
Otherwise your bumper will be hanging out by a bit. It's a pretty common thing with the rear bumpers.
