Those are drilled and slotted. The springs help smooth out the braking action to give that ultra Lexus smoothness.

I caught my dealer's techs on my dashcam talking about how they're teaching each other how to drive stick on my car, stalling it dozens of times in the process, so please excuse me while I do NOT trust my dealer and will NEVER go back there again. I'll even out them without hesitation - Acura Boston in Brighton can go F themselves. These are the same morons that disconnected my battery for no reason and caused me to fail inspection. Also the same morons who decided to put some miles on my car to get it to complete the drive cycle for the emissions system - dashcam revealed that the tech who took the car only drove a couple of miles before parking for 15min to talk on the phone.

I repeat: screw Acura Boston.

I hope you brought it up to Acura management.....

But to stay on track...I wonder what brake service they are offering for $299! (Shave rotors/clutch?)
