Trouble Turning Over

Sometimes may TL sounds like it's having trouble turning over when I start it. The dealer told me that it is has something to do with the emissions. Is there a defect or is the dealer right?

No...

You may hold your key in Ignition II for 3-5 seconds, this will smooth out your start issue.

seems a few people have had this problem.. try looking at http://www.acura-tl.com/forums/showthread.php?t=85300

From the sounds of it and after reading some of those posts it should be normal.. If you still not sure take it in.. The dealer is there to make sure you happy and your cars running right.. Hope this helps..

No. As I always say when I see these types of threads.....crank a little extra for the environment! It's great to have such a powerful car with low emissions.

A little trick I do to have it start everytime - or mainly cause sometimes my counting is fast, I wait until the guages set themselves - like the fuel guage - I wait until the needle correctly sets itself and then I crank.
