Headlights???
I only heard there is one dealer in Long Island, where someone stole 2-3's new 04TLs' headlights at their parking lot at night. Those cars' front bumpers had been smashed in order to get headlight out.
Another local body shop told me he saw another one.

They can make it harder for the thieves to get them out, but they cannot make it impossible. If the thieves want it, they will get it.
They should put something in the headlights that make them self destruct (and also blow to smithereens anyone nearby, but that would also get the unlucky do-it-yourselfer or careless mechanic) if they were removed without a code or special tool (but then the thieves could get the special tool, is there no end to this?).

Ok, I am totally depressed now. They tried to steal them for the 3rd time but no success, hood damage. Contemplating on getting rid of the 03, and get into an 05 but if this is still happening I might just leave Acura all together.

1. Easy to re-sell and fit into other cars
2. Too easy to steal.
I don't know about the 04 TL but I was showed in person how the 99-03s were stolen and a 4 year old could do it.
THEY should have designed it correctly the 1st time and goodness, I can't see them not correcting this problem for the 3rd gen.

Any ppl, including thieves, have to spend MORE time to remove bumper of 3G before they could take that headlamp out. I'd say it's not EASY. That's why thieves tried hard to smash the cars to get them out in hurry. That seems to be the only way to make quicker move.
2G TL, yes, it's so easy to lose their headlight.
