Transmission

Just discovered transmission leak. Took the car to the dealer, they said the leak was coming from the torque converter. They said it would take a day to replace seal...3 days later I finally got the car back. So far everything is good. Anyone else experience this problem?

Never heard anything say anything about it. But cars break. It happens.

There have been one or maybe two other mentions of tranny leak on this forum. I wonder what percent of all new cars experience a tranny leak. It's possible we're just seeing a "normal" amount of this relative to 50,000 TLs sold. Then again, maybe not. In any case, it doesn't appear to be widespread.

I concur with TLGator. A few ppl here ever said they have tranny leaking issue, but they're almost the easy fix. No big damage yet.
