too many new TLs in the garage

In the parking garage near the office I have seen at least 3 anthracite TLs (besides mine) and 1 diamond pearl. Haven't inspected the interiors yet. Of course, mine is the only one with a decklid spoiler I've seen most of these with dealer plates on them so suspect that they are '05s. Most annoying!

Proud owner of a 2005 anthracite/quartz 5at w/navi w/decklid spoiler.

Look on the bright side

With all the new TL owners, maybe someone will now decide there's enough of a market for the IPOD connector we all are waiting for.

I still have the only third-generation TL at my office (several second-generation, but only one third). Gets a fair amount of attention, although in fairness part of that is that people don't know what my license plate means.

I use to be the sole TL driver, 2 SSM TLs showed up, I think another Anthracite and I think a NBP is lurking somewhere, its inevitable, esp since the TL was the best selling luxury sedan.

In my parking garage there's about 5 of the 3rd gen, 6 of the 2nd gen, and 3 of the 2nd gen CL's.

what's interesting is that today I noticed that one of the anthracite ones turned gold and had dealer plates on it... hmm... maybe someone's got an in with the local dealer.

I keep seeing more and more TL's out there, I'm glad about it, more people and more cars, means more mods, better service, and of course its a compliment to see people share your good taste. That's why you add a little bit of your own flavor to your car, that way your car is a little different than all the other stock TL's out there with those mud guards..

TLs are not too plentiful in my metropolitan area yet. I think there are only 3 or 4 that I see in a typical week, and that includes mine.
