I recently upgraded my 2002 Acura TLS to a 2005, and am in the process of doing some work to it, ie rims and a few other things. I would really like to get a great tint job, but have no idea who is good in the Seattle area. I am really picky with my TL, and want to make sure I get a pro that will do a good job and take really good care of my ride, especially the insside, since that is where the will be done. Does anyone know a good shop? Thanks

i work in sales at acura of bellevue. i know of a guy that does good work. her a little pricy but does a great job. he did my tint on my 05 nbp tl. if you want the number, message me and i'll get that to you.

Both Acura Lynnwood and Southcenter recommended Auto Trim, I'm going there Friday, will see how it turns out..

 

Also, across the street from ACURA Of Lynnwood there is a reputable tint shop.. they did a great job on all the cars I've brought there.. There is like 1 or 2 specialists and they wont work on your car unless one or the other is there to do the install.. I highly recommend you check them out also..

 

I have called two shops in town: VTR (in mukilteo/everett) and accutint (bellevue). Both have never heard of moleskin and have done "tons" of TL's and not heard of any problems.

Has anyone had their TL done up in washington and can reccomend someone that I can call that knows what I am talking about. I hate to pay $200+ for a tint place that doesnt even know the problem exists.

I DONT WANT MY TL TINT TO GET SCRATCHED!

 

I will have to look around, but the first thing I want is my ASPEC rims, but I should probably get the tint first, its a hell of alot cheaper!

Let me know if you find anything, otherwise I'll keep you posted on my findings. So far everyone is slightly retarded when it comes to the TL...everything is going against what I am finding on these forums.

 

Did you just get your TL? What does it look like?? Got any pics? I just put all blue LEDs in my car, its pretty phat at night.

Bone stock...no pics...have two tint appointments setup for saturday and then another on April 29, so I have to figure out which one I am going for.

Any luck on finding someone that is good and knows about the moleskin and Navi issues?

I got mine with the bodykit about 2 weeks ago as well at Acura of Seattle. Keep us informed on your tint experience, I would really like to know how it turnes out for you.

I really like VTR up in Mukilteo they did a good job on my civic, but we'll see...might just go with the moleskin kit and be all good.

 

hmmm.. i wish i would have noticed when i was at the dealer today.. I THINK Seattle Auto Glass.. it doesnt sound right.. I'll try to find out for you..

got it done at VTR in Everett...so we'll see how it goes...still has to dry and gotta look around for bubbles. Looks really good now...had moleskins installed and non-metallic on back as well. I'll keep you posted in the coming weeks.

 

I know this one is an old thread, but I need to know your feedback on the tint/s you got from different places. Any recommendation/info is appreciated.

 

there is a tinter in the Fife/Tacoma area that is part of the forums http://cjshades.com i have seen a few that he has done and they all look good. cjams is his forum screen name.

 

AutoTrim in Tukwila did mine and it seems to be pretty good.
Acura of Seattle recommended them.

I also heard good things about Acutint in downtown Seattle.

 

I recommend accutint the one in bellevue. They doing good job, I'm gonna get mine retinted next couple weeks because all scratches, also gonna tint windshield and put clear bra 3m.
I will post pic after all done gonna repaint front bumper and hood first.
