Anyone interested in doing a groupbuy for some headlight units? a conversion, if you will, from 04-06 integrated, single bezel units to the new two bezel units w/ integrated drls? Either type s or base...which ever one's cheaper. Interest with spark a gb! I want some...anyone?

I was told it's not a simple plug and play between the 04-06 to 07-08. What is being included for the conversion?

 

pics? diagrams? anything?

 

04-05 ballast need to be also changed to 06-08 which is also rather expensive

 

Yeah this is going to be hard to coordinate. Expect the group buy price to be close to or at $900 or more bux with lamps and ballasts.

 

Or you can modify the 06-08 lights to accept any ballasts from 04-08...mine do

 

all year 04 - 08 headlight will fit

 

The problem is not the headlight... its the ballast that attaches to bottom of the housing that is the issue. 04 and 05 models use a different size ballast and so they mount differently on the bottom of the headlight housing.

 

06 ballast fits 07-08 type s lights. Good luck with group buy!!
