Those with BSM

Anyone with body side moldings, especially Anthracite can you please post pictures if possible. Some members making be re think it and I still can opt out. Thanks

Also those who have them, you ever carefully opened a door into them to see if they work at that height?

They work on the cars that park beside me. Plus no dents in 5 months and they look great. Lots of scuff marks where there would have been nicks, and they are easy to keep clean. All depends on how willing you are to keep paying to have the doors fixed for the dents that will invariably happen. I'm glad I have them and they might not stop everything in the future but its sure better than nothing.

Dealer installed when I got the car. That way it has a full Acura warranty. I don't mind paying a few extra bucks fot the warranty.

I think they would be warranteed even if you installed them yourself. They are very easy to install, and come with a template that you tape on the door right under the indent by the handles and just stick the moldings below them, after cleaning the doors first so the moldings will stick well.

Just a word of caution. My dealer put mine on, and the installer put the front door molding edge exactly at the end of the door, which messes things up if you want to put the door edge guard moldings (more heresy?) on. So leave a little room if you plan to install the edge guard moldings.
