Thinking of getting TL-S

I've got a 2006 TL with a-spec kit and suspension and only 58,000 (Canadian) on it. I financed it last December and was thinking of getting 07 or 08 Tl-s this summer. What are the major upgrades besides brakes, engine and muffler. Is my a-spec ride better than tls....little help with this pls...

Unless you can find someone to buy your car, don't do it. You'll end up losing money more than likely.

It's a noticeable upgrade by getting a type-s ... cosmetic & performance-wise ... but like the OP pointed out, you might lose some dough during the process ...

type-s is hard to find nowadays so act fast ....

I found mine sitting right in the dealership. As soon as they got it they had a bunch of people trying to get it. I stood there for 4 hours before I drove out the door with it. You won't find too many of them for like a 1-2 years at least the ones coming off of lease. If you do find one jump on it. And as for losing money on your current tl guess what you lost money the day you drove it off the lot. All cars lose about 17% of value the minute it leaves the lot in your possesion.

I had a 08 base TL that had paint issues that I traded in for a 08 Type-S. Sure I lost some $$, but the Type-S is a totally different feeling car to me. It was worth it to me. The performance is great.

agreed I came from an 05 TL lease to buying an 07 TLS. they are like 2 different cars. I am doing some cool mods to my TLS now since I own it and really dig it. The look of this car is classic and it drives very nice too.
