Hi,
Does anybody know if there is a cruise control speed cap on 2005 TL?

Thank you for your answer.

Interesting question (I don't have an answer). Are you wanting to set your cruise for like 120 MPH or something?

I got clocked 101mph with my cruise control set to 85ish. I knew I wasn't going that fast.

There are places that check your speedo- and you can do a rough job with the mile signs on the roads
At 85 a few accidental taps on the cruise up button while trying to turn up the stereo could put you over 100 easily

Of course it wasn't your fault.

Check your owner book, mine is 25mph minimum I think, it works great at keeping 35 in town- with radar traps everywhere

I admit that is my fault to put people around me in danger for driving over the speed limit. But I know that I wasn't going over 100mph. Driving over 100mph is a much more serious problem.
Anyways, I will take my responsibility and learn from my mistakes.

@01tl4tl - thanks for posting the links to the pdf versions of my owner's manual. I have been looking for it for some time now... where did you find that website?
