Thanks, I like the black/sillver theme you got going. I went with red LED towers for the turn signals. You are supposed to have some kind of red reflector in the back to be legal. The RX330 has red reflectors in the bumper.

 

^^ Ahhh... ur right.. that does make sense. But I wonder how many cops really know it to that degree. I figured as long as your brake lights break red and ur blinkers blink any other color but ricer white and ricer blue, we should be safe.

 

TL-773, any night shots of the tails and turn signals? in the day pics, they seem really dim.

The pics I posted were with the parking lights in the daytime. There is really not much difference from stock. I used to have the rockblocker tints and those cut the light output more. I'll try to post some night pics, but its hard to keep a clean car in this weather.

 

Sorry to give this thread a rebirth.. but I got some questions.

To do what TL-773 did, you only need a set of TL-S taillights correct? Since from what I see, it's just smoking out the interiors of the light. However, with Elegant's and Sunny's you would need a pair of 04-06 (red tails) to extract the white led blinkers, and a pair of type-s lights correct?

 

Yes you will need the two different set of taillights. The Type-s because they have the dark chrome bezel and the 04-06 all red tails because they have the clear turn signal, clear reflector, and the clear LED cover. Mine should be done and back on the car by next week hopefully.

 

Dude if you do this let me know. As soon as I can get my hands on some type-s tails I'm doing this.

 

Do you guys think it would look nice to paint the dark chrome inside the type-s light to flat black? I might try it, I think it should look good. Trying to do something a little more original or slightly different from what has been done.

 

Call me old fashioned but I kinda prefer the contrast of the red tails to the color of the paint. Nice job on the detail though!

 

Those look sick man, i like them really aggressive and a whole lot better than tinting or nightshading your tail lights!
