I just recently cracked my driver side tail light and I'm trying to decide what to do. I have the '06 model. Several questions:

Do the 2007-2008 tail lights fit perfectly on the 2006 model? My apologies for such a newbie question, I know very little about car parts.

Has anybody ever bought OEM replacement parts? My instinct is to go with strict OEM parts, but it seems the majority of the ones on Ebay are replacements.

And lastly, does anybody have tail lights they want to sell? I will consider the 2007-2008 pair or just the driver 2006 light.

im not 100% sure.. but i was reading some threads earlier on this same question and im pretty sure that the 07-08 tails do fit on the 06 models and its just the front headlights that have a slight problem.. but double check cause i could b wrong

the 07-08 tails are the same as the 04-06 just differerent looks.

Perfect fit. Just remove and replace.

All 3rd gen tails are interchangeable. They just have different appearances. Recommend the Type S tails myself.

Thanks for the response, guys. Its good to know that they are all interchangeable. So does anybody have some stock ones that they want to get rid of? I'm willing to pay a reasonable price, I don't really want to deal with eBay.

take a look at the depo tail lights, they look great, perfect fit and you can save a little $, a few people here have them, just do a search and you can see what they look like on the TL
