switchbacks initially will flash slow, then once they are used a little bit they are at operating levels and will flash normally. Or so I think from what I have gathered.

That would be for your resistor install. You can either install in the engine bay, or as some people have done in the trunk area. Doesn't matter where as long as you got one on each side, they tend to get hot after like 30seconds or something, so mount somewhere safe. I think you should place them behind the bumper cover, but thats just me.

Here is a couple threads on installing the resistors, both show them installed in the trunk. I just put mine in yesterday and I went with the one's that RedHOT used. I only have the rear turn signal LED's installed sofar and I had the blinker on for a good 3 minutes at one point and it was just barely warm. I'm not sure if adding the second LED turn signal up front will make them get hot faster or not or if they will just work the same way they do now.. The only downside to the one's RedHOT and I used is the size, they are pretty big..

Yes you do need resistors on switchbacks. On my TL-S i'm using two 6ohm for the two switchback 30led smts.

I personally like the faster blinking, and I got LEDs in the front and rear. SO it blinks in unison, otherwise if you have just one, then the LED will blink faster and the regular bulb slower

Im pretty sure they'll both flash at the same speed

If you look at it, the LED is ALOT quicker at turning on and off, where as the regular light as a delay, so the cue is off, and thus blink at different rates

I think 6 ohm, 50 w should be fine, IMO

BUMP, Will it hurt anything if I live with the hyper flashing and no resistors?

^ I'm guessing your bulb will die out faster vs normal flashing?
