Well, it doesn't matter how you insert the switchback... you'll get white running lights either orientation.

If you got switchbacks, then I dunno whats up with them. Ask for an exchange?

This is incorrect. If the blade is installed one way it will have white running lights and amber blinkers, but the other way will yield the inverse results. It even says so in the instructions they give. You just need to turn them around and re-insert.

I installed them both ways and ended up with the same result. Did you try it yourself or are you basing your knowledge on what the instructions told you?

jmkiang is correct. The way the contacts are setup means it doesn't matter which way they are inserted. Some bulbs are like that, not 7443s.

By the way, gcoast is quiet all of a sudden....maybe he realized his mistake.

I had the same problem he states on one side and I simply rotated and re-inserted and my problem was solved.
