Summer is HERE! Sun shade recommendations?

I can't stand the lame $10 windshield sun shades at Walmart and I've looked around the web a bit including searching this forum and haven't found anything great yet. Anyone have a nice sun shade that they like and would recommend?

have you looked on ebay? i remember seeing some custom-cut windshield shades.

hehe mine's tinted, so unless im parked in direct sunlight for more than a couple of hours, im ok... cost 75$ (50%)... may seem like a waste to some of you, but i think its worth it.

I just got my UVS100 and it's great. Custom fit to the windshield of the TL.
Used it today for the first time, as my car sits in the sun most of the day (So. Cal.). With the sunroof tilted and the sun shield in place, car felt at least 20 degrees cooler!!!
I even sat in the car to make a phone call and while it was warm, it was much better than if I didn't have the shield.

Cost me $48, but IMHO, worth every penny!!!

The UVS100 is definetly worth the money. Perfect fit and no sag between the folds. Go to Covercraft and check it out. There was also a group buy for another brand awhile back. Can't remember the name.

Hands down THE BEST shade I have ever used - Covercraft - like these guys said already. A little awkward since it is acordian style - but the fit is perfect, no sag, no light gets thru - some of those cheap collapsable ones the sun still shines through - not this one. Only complaint I have is the dash is easily scuffed from it - 303 takes care of it - not like it is permanent damage, but annoying.

Excellent shade. Heard about it first here - highly recommend it.

Ordered my UVS100 yesterday from www.carcoverkingdom.com Great price - beat most of the other online stores. I'll let you know how it works.

I've used The Shade from Dash Designs for my last 3 cars.

thanks

I just ordered the UVS100 from carcoverkingdom.com for about $39. Free shipping and no sales tax as long as you're not in NJ. Pretty good for a shade that is custom fit. I'll let you know how it works.

i got THE SHADE as well and i like it so far....doesn't take any space when it is not in use unlike the UVS100 is too big & bulky for me.. we got that for my wife 328i about 7 seven years ago...it definitely works but just too damn bulky to store when it is not in use. just my

good luck,

sam
