the funny thing is, in Japan, they now have lexus & infiniti. so a lot of "posers" over there are slapping lexus & infiniti badges on their toyota's & nissan's. i have a friend who converted his toyota altezza into a is300. it's like the complete opposite of what people were doing here.

Yeah I understand that Acura is a fancy Honda because Americans are materialistic and a H just isn't the same.
I bought my TL because it offered what I wanted and Honda doesn't build what I want anymore.
And a few years ago you could pop the hood on an acura and see Honda motors on the engine but recently they have been making that more acura as well.
Not like the teggy that had a honda motor badge everywhere.
And I would still love to have an RHD Honda Integra Type R but its not gonna happen so I bought a TL TYPE S with 6mt as a replacement for sameish money and easier to own.
O well. If there were no ricers then we wouldn't be ballers in the Honda world with our cars. Gotta give them something to envy.

Road noise lol. Honda/Acura has always had bad road noise. Its their downfall.
Toyotas are quiet but at the downfall of sludged up engines and catching on fire when stepping on brakes lol.

I say nay nay! Why do people do this??? If you want to put a Type S badge on a base TL that's one thing (still lame)...but don't cross manufacturer logos because you think it's "rare" or "cool"

These kinds of threads should get shut down more often because it encourages the bashing of people who do not conform to the majority of AZ members "tastes."

Its not a Dodge. It was at one point a 30k acura. Not a 12k Neon. Some people take it personal.
If I saw a corvette like mine w/ a VTEC sticker on it, i'd be upset also.

loll... well i agree with putting a type s badge on a regular tl. but if you mod it to look like exactly like a type s where no one can tell the difference then I would def put a type s badge on there. make everyone think im driving a type s haa.

you know, i'd put an M badge on to troll them bimmer owners. I saw a picture of an M3 in irvine with LOL VTEC as their vanity plate. I should put LOL VANOS on mine.
